‘The Bachelorette’ Season 19 Is Winding Down! What’s Coming Next?

‘The Bachelorette’ Season 19 Is Winding Down! What’s Coming Next?

The landmark nineteenth season of “The Bachelorette” is coming to a close!

Bachelor Nation has been glued to Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey’s unconventional ‘Bachelorette’ season since mid-July; these ladies’ season has been like no other in the show’s history as the duo has shared the title for an entire season.

Recchia and Windey were first introduced to the hit reality TV franchise after being the last women standing during Clayton Echard’s season finale of “The Bachelor” in the spring of 2022. The duo’s strong friendship struck a chord with viewers after they supported one another in the nail-biting season finale!

Inside Recchia And Windey’s Unconventional ‘Bachelorette’ Season

The often chaotic nature of Recchia and Windey’s shared shot at finding true love made headlines even before its first episode aired!

Bachelor Nation star Andi Dorfman weighed in on two women sharing the title at the same time.

According to a previous report, Dorfman spoke to Entertainment Tonight and expressed her dislike for the decision.

Dorfman said, “I don’t really love the fact that two women have to share the screen. I think we’ve progressed a little further. It’s 2022.”

She also added, “It gives me a little sexist vibe there I don’t really love.”

Dorfman wasn’t the only ‘Bachelorette’ feeling a little put off by the move. Kaitlyn Bristowe also later weighed in about the decision once the season had begun airing.

Bristowe tweeted, “I f—kkin hate this. Am I being dramatic?? I can’t believe they are doing this to these women and to the men.”

Bristowe had been part of what had initially begun as a joint season of “The Bachelorette.” The premise called for the contestants to choose which woman they wanted to pursue over the other, resulting in the other woman leaving the Bachelor’s mansion.

Despite some past concerns, Recchia and Windey’s strong friendship was strengthened by sharing the title and navigating the unusual experience together.

The duo prioritized communicating with each other as a survival method.

Recchia candidly shared to People magazine, “I think Gabby and I just went into it talking to each other and knowing throughout everything, we just had to have communication, and that just worked for us throughout the whole thing.”

Windy added to her bestie’s statements by saying, “I think going in, knowing a little bit about [the process] from Clayton [Echard]’s season and stuff, I feel like we both had the attitude of putting each other first. We know each other the best, our relationship above all is the most important…”

Recchia and Windey have frequently been featured having conversations together on the show, checking in with each other in between their respective dating journeys. Midway through the season, the duo mutually decided to have the contestants choose to commit to a particular Bachelorette.

What’s Coming Next?

Most recently Recchia and Windey visited their remaining suitor’s hometowns and met (most of) their families.

Social media came together to share tweets and weigh in on the duo’s hometown experiences after the August 22nd episode aired after the parents of Recchia’s contestant Tino Franco repeatedly shared their skepticism over the show’s fast-paced process and the validity of Recchia’s relationship with their son.

Following this week’s “Men Tell All” episode, the schedule for the remaining episodes of the season has been released.

According to an Instagram post from the Bachelor Nation fan account @bachelordata, there will be two episodes airing this coming week and the season finale will be divided into two parts. The first part of the finale will air on September 13th, and the second and final part will air on September 20th!
